- Open the app and sign up using Email or Phone Number
- Complete your profile by answering questions about your demographic, like your age and location
- Now, enable the Media Monitoring Feature by giving Location and Battery Optimization Access
- Lastly, enable Notification access and start earning Points
- Invite your friends and earn 2.5$ or 250 coins when they use Media Rewards for 7 days
How to Earn More:
Media Rewards Platform is a mechanism where users already have their passive media tracking and optional survey engagement rewarded with some VIOT token.
- Passive Media Research:
When the Media Research feature is turned on, advertisements and media being played in your surroundings — such as from TV shows, or via platforms like YouTube or streaming services — will recognized by the app using ACR technology. Just leaving the app open earns you points weekly and monthly, which act as entries into prize draws.
- Premium Surveys:
If you’ve seen advertisements, the app may ask if you’d like to take targeted brand surveys. This type of survey usually pays people in Gold Coins which is redeemable as gift cards.
- Weekly and Monthly Prize Draws:

How Much I Earned:
You can see in the attached screenshot that I began using the app on November 30, 2025, and my initial payout of roughly $10 was awarded to me on February 26, 2026. However, from my experience the app gets better with time, by keeping it on your phone you receive more paid surveys. For example, I received 0 surveys in November, 1 survey in December, 2 surveys in January ( ~ $2.7 ) and 4 surveys in February ( ~ $5.3 ). Overall, Media Rewards is a great app to generate passive income.
